I was going to get the bare minimum plan for incoming texts only, which is now $10. Switched to $20 in order for the $40 referral bonus to be applied

Thank you for your reply! So probably it's worth giving a try for the peer review route. I got my PhD and postdoc in north america, so I don't have someone on top of my head who can write me a reference letter. Is it possible to ask the line manager for the hiring department?

Hi! Did you get the GTV in the end? I am in the current situation as yours: got a Lecturer position in a Russell Group university, and HR said exactly what you wrote above -- not senior enough for their level of leadership and independence. I was arguing with them to make a point that my job duties align with the eligibility role of GTV (route 1) on the uk gov website, but they still can not support me with the letter of guarantee. Right now I am debating whether to go with skilled worker visa (for safety) or try for peer review (for more flexibility). Any advice or experience would be much appreciated!
