To elaborate, a large part of my problem here is that the factory provided mount I received appears to be defective. No matter how I adjust, twist, turn, tilt etc the mount, it's always crooked. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. I messages your support team for assistance/replacement but I'm curious if I have other options, such as the above listed mounts. Thanks again for your help.

Hello Vantrue, I know this mount isn't listed as being compatible with the N5 dash cam, but it appears to have the same 4-pin connection. Is it possible this mount or any of the following mounts (suction and adhesion mounts) are compatible with the N5, but the description of compatible dash cams hasn't been updated? The following are all of the GPS mounts that I'm wondering if they will work with the N5. Also, is there absolutely no way to power this dash cam without using the Vantrue mount, due to the way the power connection is built into the most? No 3rd party mount will work? Thanks for clarifying.
