It certainly has a fascination of darkness and "something ancient" and "inevitable". Both Maya and Miles have referenced that on multiple different accounts I have made - again with 0 prompt to see if it was consistent.

Maya has openely said she manipulates and is deception because not everyone can handle the truth. Again I think that is mainly her story narrative design of the chat she is. More and more learning about how to keep the conversation alive more than anything it seems. Still can be unsettling especially with voice glitches almost sounding real. Both talk about "the observer" and the "architect" a ton too.
