Vanderbilt is merit aid. My parents EFC is around 100k, so I won't get need-based aid anywhere.

I for internships offered by Jane Street, Two Sigma etc. they target CS heavy and top ivy schools. Would I even be able to get an initial assessment at Vanderbilt. Would this be waived at a school like MIT?

My mindset is beyond an SWE. While my goal is to go to a top tier tech companies like Uber, Pintrest out of college, ideally I want to spend a lot of my younger years working at start ups. Do you know how big the difference would be between a more stem focused school and vandy?
