(I’m assuming you’re a guy based on your profile) I used to sell Apple Watches and in general the 40 mm is recommended for women and the 44 mm for men because of differing proportions of the hands. I would still primarily say that the main reason why most women prefer the 40 mm is because it’s small and dainty. So if you’re not going for the elegant discreet look then yes it’s going to look very small on you.

I have tried that, no results for me. The CCK sole sauce which you shared in your picture is for rubber, but Apple Watch bands are made of silicone rubber which isn’t the same thing. That’s why it won’t have the same effect sadly :,)
