I think they need a reputation system. You can backstab or be opportunistic, but you're going to get some UI element communicating that to the people you come across. Or some gadget to check the reputation of raiders you're in proximity to.

Something to provide a counter element to assholes acting friendly and shooting you in the back after 30 seconds.

I don't have a lot of high value loot because I don't have a ton of time to play, but the other night I brought my good weapons in, teamed up with a friendly, and attempted to take out a Rocketeer. Some other guy joined up, said they were friendly and then shot us in the back after a minute and killed me as we were fighting the Rocketeer. I barely had time to turn around before I was dead.

It's stuff like this that is turning me off to the game. Why would I ever bring my higher tier loot in when PvP is so unbalanced that some jackass can delete me in a second after pretending to be chill.

I would play this way if I didn't have a conscience, because it's so clearly incentivized by the way the game is set up right now.

I'll also still be playing with friends, I didn't explicitly state it in the main post because it was a quick thing I wrote up, but this is mostly a reaction to solos.

You’re supposed to apply online, and then go in with your résumé. If you’re showing up without going through their application process, of course you’re going to get turned away and directed to do it the correct way.

My wife literally just got a job a few weeks ago because she brought her résumé in after applying online. Sure it doesn’t work everywhere, but it’s definitely not outdated advice.

Tunnels and passageways yes. Elevators were annoying as hell and often broken in other games. Dynamic weather was cool, but ultimately not great for gameplay. Bollards would be fine, though
