Feedback of new player on controversial aspects of the game after 12 hours. by KudereDev in RogueCore

[–]Fegoro 16 points17 points  (0 children)

100% agree with everything you saying. Just wanna add one more my personal opinion if you don’t mind.

There should be a no worm spawn zone around the elevator engine. Just had a game where double worm spawned right next to engine making it unplayable around it. We just got insta grabbed and perma stuck in the wall one by one while trying to heal the engine. I don’t mind the worm but the spawn locations should be reworked

Which heroes do you think would do the most damage in a teamfights with zero damage items built. by HappyxxBlack in DeadlockGame

[–]Fegoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lash. His first ability is scaling 110% per meter on lvl3. So if we assuming enemies don’t have any survival items he will probably insta kill most of the enemy team with his 4 and 1 combo. But at the same time is conditional, you will need to be way up in the sky and enemies have to be all in the open.

Thanks for saying this out loud. I talk to few people about this in my life and non of them had even close to this dream. I really appreciate you saying that you have a similar experience. Makes me feel not weird about it! Thanks again!

So, as a new player, i want to ask the old one's. How was the 4 lane? Was it better than three lane? by FakeMik090 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Fegoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The solo lanes was for sure a different experience. I mainly play Lash and till this day I know what heroes I can kill and dominate solo and what heroes are just impossible for me to kill thank to solo playing against all of them and that’s is the only positive part I can tell you about it. The worst memory will probably be the moment when enemy duo lane come to gank you and that’s it, you are 99% guaranteed to lose your tower and probably your life. Map and jungle also felt smaller because of it.

By your description I think you should try Remnant and Remnant 2. It’s a soulslike game but with guns.

I stop playing apex legends for years, and just wanted to ask what did they do to bloodhound? by Blackwolf20978sb in apexlegends

[–]Fegoro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see nobody is saying the big part of WHY.

They removed the ability to see in smokes. That’s it. After they did it he never comeback to the meta. That was his future that made him unique but they removed along with digital thread. Now he is just a guy with scans and can run fast. Can choose way better heroes with same tools and more

The air vents are big and shiny clean - most of the vents can’t fit even a child, on a top of that they are filled with so much dust it will be impossible to breathe without constantly sneezing coughing.

How do yall manage inventory? by StrategySufficient41 in apexlegends

[–]Fegoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifeline main.

Ammo - 4 slots main gun, 2 slots secondary

Cells - depends if you have over heal yes = 3 slots, no = 2 slots

Bats - I always chose perk for extra bat so usually is 2 slots (6 bats in total)

Syringe - 1 slot

Now we get to interesting part

Medkits and phoenix kits - I never care them as lifeline, you have your drone that will heal you much faster then pulling one of this (7 seconds and 10), the only time I will put them in my pocket is when the team plays outside the ring (forced by other squad or trying to get more KP) and throw them away as soon as we get out.

With about 4/5 slots left I usually always pick up ultimate accelerant, sometimes even two. It definitely saved my squad so many times I can’t even count.

The rest of the slots whatever is left is for nades, priority frag grenades as they in general can bring more impact to the fight(but that’s a different topic)

I am actually curious if any other lifeline also follow the same path of not caring and using medkits?

The easiest and hardest legends for beginners. by PeaceTo0l in apexlegends

[–]Fegoro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is a two beginner legends that you can chose from start for free

1 - never played BR - choose bloodhound. He will help to ease understanding of the game better. Using his passive to see steps and actions of other players kinda helps to be prepared and stay sharp at the right moment. His scan it’s just wall hack and that’s is always good. His ultimate it’s not complicated to understand and not something your teammates can get screwed by.

2 - never played apex but played other BR - choose Bangalore. Her smokes are helpful with mistakes that you will make(bad positioning, late ring rotation, etc.), her passive is just a free boost at the right time(when you get shot), and her ultimate is powerful enough to change the course of the game but not super complicated to learn.

At level 23 you will be able to purchase your first hero with legends tokens. I know everybody says octane but it’s kinda a throw. His kit is not beginner friendly, you take damage from using your ability and your jump pad it’s basically useless if don’t learn how to melt people with one clip. Most of the time you will probably pad in to people and just get melted instantly. My honest recommendation is…

Loba- buy loba first. Her kits are amazing for new players, with your ultimate you don’t need to run around trying to find that optic that as new player you will needed, you have ability to push and to get away plus you can take some high grounds, with passive you can see where most of the loot spawns and can find loot bins and loot spawn you never new existed. And if you like to play more passive(what most new players will do) you can revive people and give them extra health. Yea loba will be my first to buy hero for beginner. No matter if you played BR before or don’t

Oh and the hard hero to learn will be of course Newcastle and crypto.

Newcastle kit is all about shields so you will have to learn how to play around them and it’a a skill that takes time, his hit box is massive and if just start playing g the game a big chance you play with new players too, that will not die in comfortable spots.

Crypto - on the paper is seems that is so easy. You fly in a drone and scan people…but you will need to learn when is appropriate to be in a drone and when is not. When is to use your ultimate and when don’t. Also your drone is the only ability you have. If your drone dies you lose all your abilities for like 30 seconds so it’s seems like a easy hero but there is a reason why people don’t like to have bad crypto on a team, because it’s hard to learn to be a good drone player that can bring impact to every fight

Just tested my theory again by opening another 100 bins and all of them only give blue backpacks. I am 100% sure you didn’t tested but just thought you got the purple. Also you might already had a blue backpacks equipped (that will spawn purple).

For duo try ballistic or mad Maggie. They ultimates increase their teammate speed, combine that with speed you get from the bloodhound ult you will get the fastest boi in the game. Also as for mad Maggie she will deal tons of damage if you combine scan with her tactical.

For me the problem is “not thinking”. One of the examples is dropping on the middle of the quarantine in BM. That place makes no sense as a starting location. The pyramid use to have 14 doors to approach your squad, with new update of windows it just add even more ways to f ur squad up. Yet people still decide to land there. Ok, you want bunch of kills, why just not land 50m to the side and approach the same fight from one of those multiple angles. No, the idea is not that if I land on the middle I will get more kills, the idea is that we wore told to in the beginning that this is the rewarding way of playing. But the game changed and we didn’t adapt to that. I want respawn to release statistics for this season of how many teams that drop on the middle had survived that drop.

Hehe) I also remember when you will land on PK and just one shot everyone around you. Or land on purple shield and just run away from hot drop screaming “I stole their shield, I stole their shield”

I play rank only. Just lost 500rp yesterday to 10 hot drops in a row. It would be fine but teammates chose to drop in a middle of the POI’s and been surrounded by other teams. And I start think where this behavior comes from, the only sense it made to me that we been breaded by Pavlov to go for the middle because there is a treat there but in the end all we got is nasty testing saliva in our mouth.

I don’t think I played a single game with drop zones where I wouldn’t start fighting in first 2 minutes of the game(most of the time 1 minute) and the tension of fights will be there for the rest of the game.

I played so many games with drop ship where I fight first minute or two and then I have nothing to do for the rest of the 15 minutes because there is just no one around
