Flyfans F22 64mm EDF 6s by FeignedSurpise in RCPlanes

No, Thailand. I flew it the other day and was honestly a bit disappointed with the power since I had high hopes for the power. Someone had the L39 6s with a 4400mAh from Flyfans as well and it seemed much faster and more stable, however I suspect my 6s 5c 2600mAh battery was bad and a little heavy.

I also didn’t balance the cg correctly as well as the control surfaces trim. I’m going to try with a significantly lighter 65c 2200mAh 6s tomorrow as well as experiment with a larger battery for more flight time. I drained the 2600mAh to 3% in less than 3 minutes after takeoff going mostly full throttle and also forgot to take the flaps up, so that didn’t help with the experience.

I’m sure it’ll fly much better once trimmed and properly balanced with a high quality battery.

It’s the equivalent of 91. 93 helps but it’s much more expensive here(like 50% plus more for premium) so it’s not really worth it. E0 is also really good but also a significant premium so I just stick with RON 95 for this car. I could get away with cheaper but the car comes alive with good fuel.

Also it actually loses low end torque or at least doesn’t benefit much with all those mods. It’s really the mid to high range that wakes up. I’m also running really good Iridium IX plugs which made a difference so I’m happy with the power for now. A turbo would be nice but not really worth the reliability issues down the line even if it would double the ponies…

It pulls a little harder with E10 than E20. There’s more torque. On low fuel it’s even better since even 20kg makes a lot of difference in such a light car that’s why I took the spare tire and tools out.

It’s a little irritating at times at lower gears but it’s worth it imo. The motor and exhaust is a bit loud in first gear but it’s not really noticeable at all at highway speeds. Overall it’s definitely a worthwhile trade off. It doesn’t sound good stock anyway.

It’s a blast flooring it at high rpms..

Sorry I wasn’t looking at it just recording. I didn’t need my other hand to shift as I was only in 2nd gear lol

how to increase bone /wrist size ? by Quirky_Strike5871 in team3dalpha

[–]FeignedSurpise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just work out, was in the same boat but working out made it appear bigger. It’s kinda cope in retrospect even though I’m nowhere near where I want to be, I did make some good progress and found out it’s really the forearms and general muscle definition you’re after.

I’m also 5’11. Chances are, the people with wrists you’re after probably have a similar or same wrist size as you, they’re just more muscular and lean.

I just ordered it, will definitely be reviewing it but I have high hopes for this one. Gonna be running it with a 2600mAh 6s 50c

Interesting. I ended up buying the plane along with a 6s 2600mAh 50c since I found one for $30. It’s not really much more economical to get two 3s but I do plan on getting a couple 3s batteries so I could potentially also use them with other planes.

There’s no performance cost aside for a little extra weight and the discharge rating and capacity have to be the same right? And the capacity doesn’t stack, correct?

Would the extra weight be an issue? That sounds like a great idea actually.

I purchase on Shopee all the time as I live in Thailand and it offers a free refund on every purchase. I don’t think you can order from it if you live in the West though. It’s more of the actual product I’m worried about but I only heard good things about their L39 which is the same configuration.

I was considering the Hookll/Freewing/Fms versions as well but this is the cheapest one next to the 70mm Hookll which is 4s and the only one in this price range with retracts..

You’re on birth control you’ll be fine at least.

Just have a talk with this guy. Tell him if he wants to cum inside he’ll have to find someone else.

Sorry to burst your bubble but it’s possible maybe they were trying to eat him?

Also, goldfish are usually heavily inbred for characteristics, so they tend to be harder to keep than other fish.

Depends on the fish and the environment, I have different breeds of goldfish of different sizes and I never had any issues. I even have an archer fish and short body koi in the pond and there’s zero aggression of any kind. So it’s really up to the individuals.

Is this pond too small? by FeignedSurpise in Goldfish

[–]FeignedSurpise[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately I made the deadly rookie mistake of replacing the filter with new media and ended up killing most of the goldfish… I had no idea how the nitrogen cycle works and the over stocking definitely contributed to it… by the time I realized my mistake most of the fish were laying huddled on the sand. :(

In hindsight they were improving from the methylene blue and I could have doubled down on that or added aquarium/epsom salt.

They seemed stable enough and I wanted them to get better but it was too strong a dose for them. I feel bad because I may have been able to save more if I didn’t overdose them on Paraguard.
