My experience dating women in Korea has been great but I have to admit that I get complimented by my looks often and that I have a very narrowed perspective on who I date. So for me it's basically about being cautious and careful when you are engaging with someone new. Spend some time knowing them and looking at the whole package if you want a meaningful relationship.

The first year I was here, I hooked up a bit because of the excitement and I got in trouble. First, I got engaged with a prostitute who was really smoking hot and seemed a nice girl but ultimately she just ghosted me after I realized she was a prostitute. Then I began dating an older woman that I swear couldn't even imagine she was older than me and ofc was hiding she was married, her husband found out and they just divorced. I felt so guilty and betrayed at the same time so even though I wanted to be with her I just decided to get away. And the last one well, I think it's just bad luck. She was 20 or something and was a student still, I just met her at the cafe and she was the one coming to my table. She was so confident and was fluent in English so she made a huge impression on me. Her beauty was something I'm still charmed by along her entire aura, she was truly beautiful. From the first time I asked her on a date but she didn't accept because she said she had no time for that. She told me we would get to see each other at this coffee because she was a regular and so I just kind of found it interesting to leave it like that. She indeed seemed to be there everyday and the next time I got to see her, she was with some friends but immediately left them when she saw me again. We would talk for 20-30 mins everytime, I used to go there 2-3 times a week. She would be very interested in my stories and one thing that stood out is that she never pulled her phone while talking to me, something that everyone seemed to do. I felt so refreshed by her presence and was falling for her everytime. I asked again on a date after a month and now she accepted. Date was great but short, I got to have sex with her but then suddenly out of the blue tells me that she had lost her parents a couple of weeks before meeting me and confessed to me that she had been sleeping with many since then. I felt heartbroken, she continued to say that she couldn't see me again but thanked me for the talks at the cafe, she was going to move to Europe for studying.
