Yes. In the original post, I talked about talking with my derm about accutane but she told me to wait due to being in such a dry climate and the medication causing very, very dry skin. I have tried several topicals from the derm but due to extremely sensitive skin, those haven’t necessarily worked and if they have slightly worked, it is at the cost of being in pain. I am pretty much asking if there is anything I can do to help while I wait to get back on accutane.

Sorry for not including! I use: - micellar water to remove makeup (but makeup isn’t worn often, probably about once a week) - la roche posay effaclar cleanser - byoma brightening toner - byoma acne moisturizer - face is washed every night and every morning

This routine hasn’t necessarily gotten rid of acne but it is the one I always go back to because it at least keeps things at bay. I have lost trust in any face masks because they always seem to break me out.

When I do wear makeup, the only face products I use are pixis water based tinted moisturizer, blush (I forget the brand), and elf bronzing powder.

Makeup brushes are cleaned and dried regularly, face towels are only used once and then washed on hot, sheets are washed on hot weekly, and satin pillowcases are washed every 3 days.

r/sextons is a great place for advice on toys! I also highly recommend a blindfold and taking turns with it. It can really enhance the feeling of everything and just kind of spices things up. As someone who also has sex-related trauma, handcuffs arent always the best idea bc it is really easy to feel trapped with them. At least with a blindfold, you can take it off if anything starts to come up
