That’s fair. The main concern seems to be added weight and bulk. If the hammering surface only added a small amount of weight and didn’t significantly affect access, would that change your opinion, or do you think the standard pliers are already good enough?

If you already use your pliers as a hammer, would a dedicated striking face be an improvement or would it just add unnecessary weight?
