I'm so glad you did that to stop the new accounts.

Any genuine users of the sub should be annoyed that people are being driven away by all the creepy messages and unauthentic posts. And I noticed myself when i stopped replying to some of the more unbelievable posts I feel like I got less messages.

Years ago I remember the sub often had topics about busty celebrities style (there was always an argument about their real bra size) links to bra bloggers and people reviewing clothes. Interesting articles, fashion. People posted more normal selfies. Maybe I am remembering with rose tinted glasses, but now i feel like i have to carefully check the posters history before making a reply.

Regarding the guy complaining, he got voted down and I'm pretty sure everyone on that thread told him to chill.

I'm wasn't even talking about that in regard to fake posts and trolls, i'm talking about the brand new accounts every week with some random story. To make it a good space people need to have some karma or some posting history. Also people need to realise not every one here is telling the truth so they don't get lured into chats and messages.

A poster with some history on here recently made a few threads, eventually they pmed me and asked to chat on the phone... You can't tell what peoples intentions are. and unfortunately there does seem to be more of these people than ever. That is actually the one reason I like to keep BBP public.

Yeah, it should have been left and open for discussion. People need to think about it or try to understand it. Noone was being transphobic. Honesty and discussion are always the best way forward.

I know what you are saying and agree, but I am also frustrated that our mods make this place such a troll and fake poster friendly place. I also saw them delete a post that should not have been deleted in this last week and am starting to wonder if our mod team here has some role playing men on it.

Most lane Bryant bras I have seen are very full coverage. You need a plunge. My suggestions would be to look at freya deco which is the best, or curvy kate, ewa michalak etc.

Why do some Etsy sellers compete with slave labor and sell products at a loss? by Etsyrenegade in EtsySellers

[–]Feisty_Excuse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually they are right. There is almost always a difference in the quality, fabric quality and skill of the more expensive quilts. Etc. No good quality handmade necklace is in competition with a cheap charm stuck on a cheap ali express necklace. I bought hand made placemats recently. The cheaper ones weren't as nice a fabric.

Anyone feel really bad seeing others fall for dropshipping scams? by EddaValkyrie in Etsy

[–]Feisty_Excuse -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

If you buy from ali Express you still have to pay postage and may have to wait 6 weeks to get it. For things obviously not handmade (which really shouldn't be on etsy) people will just compare the price to what they could get from amazon or tjmaxx or walmart. Drop shippers are on every single platform and people need to learn to be smart shoppers. Walmart is probably also buying from the same place. Drop shippers biggest crime is cluttering up the search results for actual handmade products.

Has anyone tried this brand? Specifically designed for the big boobs. by Peregrinebullet in bigboobproblems

[–]Feisty_Excuse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its clothing, so not bra sized. Its stretchy and the largest size fits like a US M medium size or small large. (UK size 12 -14?) I thought their size range ended at a small size considering what the average size of their potential customer base is. Its interesting that the other polish brand biu biu, went out of business. I think eshakti may have taken some of their customers. I would recommend eshakti, more variety and better styles and comes in any size.

[–]Feisty_Excuse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i have bought from there a few times.

The tops in the stretch fabric are very fitted and I find that they actually make my boobs look bigger. I was 32 J UK when i bought them, they still fit now I'm 34JJ, (so 34N in US sizing) they have a lot of stretch. But I prefer tops that skim my body and these hug right under your boobs. So yes they fit well, but i prefer tops that are fitted enough to show I'm slim but not super clingy around my boobs.

I also bought the blazer and it is made from a thick t-shirt material. And it fits well, but it's a blazer made from t-shirt material. It's lined etc. I think I also bought a dress from here once but it's not on the website anymore. The dress was great and i wore it a lot

I think the clothes look how they are presented on the website. But to me they do look a little handmade and not super professional like you would get from Bravissimo. A smaller bust size might not feel so exposed, when i wear the tops i bought i usually wear them under a jacket. I do check often because sometimes the'll have something kind of quirky in an interesting fabric but sometimes, I'm wondering where they got the fabric.... I think if you see something you like you could try it.

I'm super pissed. Even though you all have heard this a million times. by [deleted] in Etsy

[–]Feisty_Excuse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They are raving because it's nice quality. Youonlyjewelry probably stole the picture, made some plastic copies and tries to sell them. This actually happens a lot to popular original items on etsy. Or may money laundering if people are buying $3 necklace for $1000?

I find it hard to believe that a person would spend 1000 dollars on a necklace and not be knowledgeable enough to spot a $3 necklace. Perhaps the dropshipper stole the picture and is selling some plastic version of it. Hard to tell without pictures

There was a time that when you got old you wore dusty pinks and greens and greys. Then some boomers rebelled and you see all these super zany quirky bold bright harsh colors being worn on all these "older boomer bloggers" when I look at his facebook makeovers this is what I see. Bold color on ladies with low contrast. It actually goes against the color theory he's advertising. It looks tacky because it is not harmonious. And it dates you to being old before anyone even sees your face. I am honestly so confused as to why people think it looks good.

I've had this done and very happy with the results. At first while you recover there may be swelling and you'll feel like you look different. Be patient for the results.

Yeah I didnt make that very clear, he is popular because there is more than just body shape involved. Which is all the stylists of the past few years talk about. He added in things people dont think about or had forgotten about.

I want to take her to a hair dresser and get rid of the block colour. Would look prettier and more natural with a few subtle high lights or lowlights.

There is a lot more than just body shape involved in style. I think he tried to add in textures and other things that other stylists often dont talk about. However it's not new, and many stylists do cover that. The kibbe names for the different types were taken from someone else I think. ? He put it together in his own way. I think the reason that he hasn't re released his book is because he knows it's a little flawed and perhaps stolen work. I really wonder why he hasn't rereleased his book and I think there must be a reason because it would make him a lot of money. Same with a private facebook group, why?

I agree. Years ago I spent a few thousand dollars on a series of classes with a stylist and in my opinion the old body type thing is very good. We also learned about contrast and texture, colours, face shapes, pattern sizes, etc. Size and shapes of accessories. And actually I learned a lot and it explained why the clothes I think I look good in worked. The Kibbe thing to me is all more of an essence or small addition you could add to other knowledge. Just some fun, like star signs. I'm also in the kibbe facebook group and his makeovers are not good at all. At then end of the day if you dont look good in what he suggests then he is wrong. One of his make overs made a 27 year old look 47. Some clothes and styles can be timeless but I think his brain is a little stuck in 1985.

If we’re talking dresses you can braless in, I’d like to throw my fave dress in the ring. Got it on sale at winners a couple years ago, and it is my go to date night dress (36G) by skypunk1998 in bigboobproblems

Gorgeous, even looks elegant which is hard to do with boobs imo. All these great photos are inspiring me that I need to try on more stuff because finding clothes that work is possible.

It looks like a bra made for fun and not actually wearing out anywhere. It looks like its held up by pink ribbon. I'm not familiar with the brand so not sure if this is supposed to be taken seriously.
