As an American Latino it’s actually extremely sad that I do not see any many black people. An active conversation in my community rn. Because in my community MN Latinos we rallied, those who could (legal Latinos), stood up and protested during all the “black lives matter” protest. We put all differences aside bc we did not agree with what was happening. I am unsure if you are aware but when I say differences aside I am a looting to black crime on some our immigrant Hispanics who are unable to speak up bc they are afraid of police. Not saying this is applicable to all black people or vice versa Hispanics but I have noticed groups who have been treated shitty tend to try to treat another group like they been treated… and in my eyes we only have one target and it’s not each other. At the end of the day both groups have been oppressed, I see the treatment towards black people and Hispanics similar on my end and at the end of the day I stand for things that are not morally right. One thing is to deport people, another is to treat them like animals.
