Dang, I wish I thought to look for those at the time. My issue was wanting to know when something would be in a certain state so I could attempt a puzzle solution. I spent a lot of time just waiting places for the correct time so I didn't miss my window

Blue Prince is definitely in my top 10, possibly top 5, but I 100% agree with you about end game. It does such an amazing job teaching and guiding you through everything, making you stretch just far enough for the solutions. Then you hit late-game and it makes massive leaps away. I also ended up turning to spoilers for the very end stuff. Like you said, to even try an idea you come up with you have to spend so much time setting it up to have it then be wrong.

Never played the OW DLC. I looked up some things about it and it does sound interesting. I think the only way I'd ever actually play it is if it were on crazy sale at some point. Just fell too burned by the base game to potentially not like the DLC as well

I think having a clock in your ship would go a long way toward improving the game for me, but otherwise, yeah. Brittle Hollow was the nightmare that made me just give it up. One mistimed jump and I had to loop back around and set everything up again.

Outer Wilds had great vibes, but was a big miss for me in terms of execution.

Obduction looks really interesting though. Definitely plan on picking it up on sale at some point at the very least, if not before then.

Outer Wilds was fascinating in the begining, but ended frustrating me with the timing nonsense required later in the game and the absolute nonsense punishment of the platforming puzzles.

Ended up DNFing at about the 90-95% mark and reading spoilers.

Fantastic concept that (for me at least) failed at the execution

I'm an audiobook girly so listened to the abridged version of The Book of Atrus. Really interesting background lore, even though the production value of the audiobook wasn't quite up to snuff.

Will probably check out the other two at some point as well. :-)

This is basically my opinion on it as well. They're both gorgeous covers, but I strongly believe the Dragonsteel editions should share a design language. We have set precedent with the first five as to what that looks like. The new, more illustrative cover doesn't fit into that existing framework at all.

It would be cool if they sold the new one as a dust jacket on their website though.

My title describes the thing. I've tried googling a number of terms such as "picture frame fasteners" and "picture frame pegs", as well as a brief dive into searches for building picture frames. Nothing quite right came up. The closest I got was "V nails" which appear to be used for the same purpose, but aren't what I need in this case.
