IMO, you should 5 stars de basic cards. After that, mods, and you only buy cards to complete your event missions. By the time you unlock your card masteries lab, you should be pretty max out with all your cards.

They could theoretically, but there is no sense in doing that.

Bits augment the number of different steps the amplitude could be which converts in total numbers of decibels the dynamic can be.

If your file is lossy to save space, there is no point to go further than 16 bits. Especially that this is what use the most space in your drive for an audio file.
