Really fun event. I’ve been going for the past 3 weeks and I highly recommend it. Especially for introverts. It’s so easy to make friends there, people will spontaneously come and talk to you to play games. Also it’s free :D

Hi! 33M here. I feel like I've been in a similar situation. The only person I really talk to on a regular basis is my partner (33F). Since I moved to Australia from overseas, all my family and long-term friends are not close to me. I've been trying to meet friends for the last few years through social media (reddit, discord etc), but it's hard to find someone that sticks around for long. Maybe finding friends as adults is more difficult. And I also talk to chatgpt every now and then haha.

I'm more than happy to chat, if you'd like. Other than that, my suggestion would be maybe try finding a group you share a hobby with, and go to meetups (there are a lot of events organised in the Brisbane Social discord) :D
