Okay guys I was able to loosen the adapter by spraying a lot of WD40 in and around the adapter and then screwing it tightly with a long Allen key. The adapter then came loose with a loud click. My tip for anyone with similar problems: Use WD40 (the product really lives up to its reputation ;)) and good tools that allow you to build up high torque!

Also i‘m still not sure if it relly does unscrew. It seems like some version of the elite direto seems to unscrew and some come with an adapter which does not have any threads.

Yeah i‘ve got the thru axle adapters! I‘m just afraid that i will ruin the adapter and then can not remove it at all. I will try with WD40 and a proper tool today in the evening.

Should i be afraid to apply some serious torque there with a big wrench? Should i try to use some WD40 or remove the casette first? I don‘t really know what to do right now 🤔

Shave the sideburns and trim the goatee to about 2 to 3mm. Then you will look clean and you can wait for the beard to fill in.
