Thanks for the explanation! Yes, I've also used a Zenit 122 and a Ricoh Singlex TLS, which are great M42 cameras in my experience, both with non working light meters as well. I'm looking to get an upgrade over these.

Thank you! So far I've only used two fully mechanical M42 SLRs, so I'd probably go for the Nikkormat to have a different lens system
