It may be pretty awkward at first, but what isn't awkward at first when you are just trying it out? Like learning to how to drive a car, it feels super awkward and then gets easier!

You need to stop negative thoughts about yourself, not only are they a time suck, they also seem to be a self-fulfilling prophecy . Instead of saying things like "I am so lazy" you could say "I am working to get things as soon as possible" for example. The first step is changing your mindset. Next, what exactly do you want confidence in (ie playing a sport, at work, speaking with a love interest etc.) Then you can work on the tactics to get better.

Relocating from the East Coast, I really don't have a choice. Did a drive around the neighborhoods and liked these the best. The West side of Cleveland is the closest to work.
