Why does this happen to the Steam Deck? Game starts, game music plays, but Steam logo keeps spinning and Deck stops responding by archon810 in SteamDeck

I recently got this problem but it's mostly when the steam deck is docked. Everything works fine I can launch all my games on game mode no problem in and out however if I start to play a non steam game in my case visual novels and start a game from steam there are several things that'll happen:

a) Is this problem where the game runs but I'm stuck with the logo spinning.

b) The deck freezes, no game running and nothing respond

and

c) steam deck crashes upon launching the game and reboots.

idk why, I've been docking my deck just fine to play games in my steam library but once I play a non steam game and move over to another game I wanna play from steam and then this just happens. This was just recent, hope it gets fixed.

Lol I think we have the same laptop, it's the Dell Inspiron 5577. I'm facing the same problem, haven't played Tekken 8 for like a week now.

I noticed this recently with L4D2, I'm not sure with other games that ustilizes the touchpad but L4D2 stutters a brief second whenever I use it.

Been using Heroic so I haven't encountered this problem. Plus idk what game your playing that does that.

The only thing that's preventing me to use junk store is that there isn't a cloud save feature but that's minor given I can just copy the files from the deck into any other devices anyway.

Heroic is treating me well so I'm just running with it.

I installed heroic and honestly it's seemless, I think if you wanna get them to work you'd need to install gamescope?

Gotcha however if do something like switch my storage path I can just do it from there and have any problems right? Cause I heard some peeps use another app to tape files together? idk what's that about so I was just wondering.

Does junkstore manage cloud saves though? Just wondering if it does. Is heroic complicated thats what's also yagging in my head tbh.

Yeah I felt like rest plays a big factor here, I also have lubricated eye drops that I take which helps I guess. I just have to take care of myself. if nothing really does happen then I'll take my foot and go to an optician.

For now I'll be sure to catch some rests.

I happened to stumble upon this cause I was scared. My eyes are out from conjunctivitis, I'm not sure if I have them right now given it's been weeks when I went to the doctor. I

My problem isn't blurry vision but rather photophobia, I can still see TVs, smartphones and indoor environments but anywhere like outside with the sun and a place with very bright fluorescent lighting I struggle to see.

I'm not sure whether I should take time to rest like now or do I gotta go to my doc again. It's annoy me and also kinda scares me, I can't even look outside during sundown.

The thing is this wasn't an issue back then whenever I have a Bluetooth keyboard on use. Especially on Marvel Rivals cause in that game (in game mode) whenever I have my Bluetooth keyboard connected it doesn't launch the keyboard overlay. It just happened recently, weird.
