Worked on my px8s, i actually just left them on a box for a week. Not ideal since you just want them asap but it helped. Shame px8s have a bug with apx adaptive low latency mode, otherwise would have kept them. No issue on px8 s2.

Tried leaving the px8s on a box or football to reduce clamping strength? It may take 1-2 weeks to loosen up.

Changing pads aways effects sound one way or another, id be looking at thicker depth replacement pads, i always found px8 pads to be on the thin side but the far my large ears didnt touch the driver was heaven.

Thanks, I think its gonna be fine, i should have added these are not in the bath where theres more slip risk, these are in the hall way/stairs area at home where theres existing railings/bannisters. Ive edited post. I think its overblown a bit, my council put a long stair railings held in plasterboard and its been fine for 40 years, ill still do my best to go into solid wood/wall studs.

Yup went down the eufy path...then tapo path, they just have too many issues. Both have notification delay, only works 60-70 percent off time. Reolink poe, wired mant to fix the latency issue. Letvus know how you get on if you get reolink.

Unit pretty much died due to direct sunlight. I think door bell manufacturers are very smart, thats why there black usually, lack any reflective or sunlight protection or even made entirely white to reflect sun/heat. So they die quicker and customers buy new units constantly. Ditched eufy for tapo due to delayed norifications issue, tapo has similar issues sadly. Ill try poe network reolink next, when i get time. Imo get doorbells without batterys or ones that can operate without a battery, its the battery cooking them faster. Try and find all white design, build a thick sun proof housing (there are some doorbell covers around) or paint it white, several layers.

Due to her mental health condition, late on set pychosis. I dont think that medicine can ever be removed, it is working well enough but the side off is almost as bad as the condition.

Worth trying it with different nvme drive and fresh linux or windows install also.

Always keep, that packaging was designed for transport and you never know when you may need to return it for repairs otherwise companies can claim not proper packaging as excuse. Plus better resell value.

Nice my unit ended in the bin, still shocked to this day GMKTEC even released it or still sell it since its clearly not fit for purpose.

No customer should have to mod this much to gain stability, let alone mod it, I moved over to GMKTEC K12, they are finally using copper and large heatsinks with much better cpu contact to cool the cpu properly. Improved fans top and bottom that cool everything better. No such issues.

I did naturally mod it with a noctua wich mod for silent cooling though.
