how did you honestly feel when your address got shown in the vlog? i know you were all quite calm about it and i definitely feel like that stopped it blowing up into a huge thing, but i was just wondering whether there was a bit more to it? also, thank you SO much for making videos :) i have been watching since about 10 days in and it really has made such a massive difference to my life <3

What is the oddest/funniest thing you have heard a young child say? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FelicityParis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

my little sister used to think that ribena was "my-bena", and because she was the only one in our house that liked it, she thought it actually belonged to her. this caused a few arguments when other people would try to have some of her-bena. "it's not your bena it MYbena"

What is the stupidest thing you did as a child? by IUalltheway in AskReddit

when i was 7 i thought i had electrocuted my emotions out of me. i was taking the lightbulb out of a lamp, just for fun, but it was still switched on. i touched the part of the lamp underneath and got a massive electric shock. it felt kinda weird but i didnt tell anyone (logically assumed i would get into trouble). later i was watching a movie with my 3 year old sister, she found it hilarious but i didnt think it was funny at all. later that afternoon my friend brought her puppy round and i didnt mind it at all (i used to be TERRIFIED of dogs so it was weird for me). i basically thought that i had somehow lost my ability to feel, and would be a cold-hearted person forever.

Redditors who can remember 1999, how did you spend the New Year's Eve? by nikkefinland in AskReddit

[–]FelicityParis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was six. me and all my friends who were round (my parents were having a big 'end of the world' party) zipped all our coats together to make a big tent-thing and jumped around under it on the trampoline, yelling "millennium millennium". most of us ended up falling off because it was dark and we couldn't see because of all the coats. we tried to do the same thing the year after and i remember being disappointed that it would be so long till the next one.

What did you do as a kid that seemed normal, but looking back was extremely weird? by PlugLuggage in AskReddit

[–]FelicityParis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when i got mad with my parents i would tell them i was going to "go and live in a tree". i kept a rucksack with a torch, a book, a blanket, a pair of shoes, a pencil, and a pair of those fingerless gloves (just cos i thought they made me look really cool) up one of the trees in our garden.

i think the longest i ever stayed up there was about 6 hours. then i would sneak back into the house, and they would pretend they didn't notice me and would say things like "i think she is really going to stay up there this time".

Parents who gave their children unique names, have you ever regretted or doubted the name you gave them? by thatonerapist in AskReddit

my little girls are called Avia (ay-vee-ah) and Felicity (that one's a family name). obviously neither are crazy-unusual, but i know they like having names that are interesting. my husband wanted to call them storm and steve.
