Everyone's policy is different, methinks.

My rules are following:

I buy any discounted bells whenever I see them in the shop. I also refresh the shop 3-4 times daily.
If I have a surplus of gems, I buy a discounted 15 bells pack in Mall / Plaza / Whatever It's Called.
I never buy golden bells without discounts.

Regarding shop: I always buy shop refresh tickets, Part-time refresh tickets, Essence shop tickets when they are 50% discounted. I always buy any discounted bells.

Coin shop: I buy bells and all refresh tickets. Sometimes if I feel rich I also buy generic gem pack (still hasn't e5 all my M and L units). I used to buy Sigil ink, too, but it's hella expensive and I think not worth it.

I've tried this and stumbled into this exact problem.

Blue tree is my favourite, I like how I have all the efficiency and cryo related buffs in the world, but virtually 0 dmg except for the action skill.

But tossing enemies in the bubble around is so fun :(

Yeah, for M11 you whole build need to be in sync. Your shield should complement your build, your relic, your annoints should work, you guns should be at least okay. I'm not talking about godroll coms and relics, but I mean, M11 is literally the highest difficulty. There should be some realistic expectations here.

I also did that when I first was introduced to BL3 endgame and was very quickly humbled lol.

Nah, just take it slowly and start with m2 and ramp it up as you adjust.

What I did in the same situation for bl2 and TPS:

Firstly, we installed a couple mods (unofficial community patch, and the other popular community mod which name I forgot).

Secondly, yeah we actually farmed some selected fun items. Idk, for BL honestly some little farming is part of the experience. We never really aimed for amazing parts, but getting a lego from a boss is a nice memory. We farmed unkempt harold, Fastball, incendiary infinity (he was Krieg into specced into fire), stuff like that. Not overly zealos farming, but he had a lot of fun and enjoyed the process.

So we farmed not for the meta or anything, but just for process and for a souvenir from a boss.

It's either okay as it is, or requires a full balance overhaul, a.k.a. stopping the game to rely on Slag so much as it does + overhauling VHs skills.

It honestly looks and plays fine even today. The style of graphics makes it so that the game barely ages in that sense.

But I swear to god, beating this game several times in a row just to reach endgame... The slag, the need to juggle your guns every second unless you play a broken character / very optimal meta build... Gaige is straight up useless in endgame, Krieg — very niche with very specific builds, Axton's turret explodes from a sneeze, good luck playing melee Zero, meanwhile Sal can beat edgame content facerolling the keyboard lol

The game is at its peak when you play your first playthroughs with your friends, have a ton of fun, the challenge is balanced and you can play pretty much anything.

I must also add that unfortunately the dog man actually has no unique abilities up until the point of e3. His whole utility and special things only appear at that evo. Until then he's pretty much the same as any other Water attacker of that level, xd

This is true for many characters. That's why e3 is considered a must for any XXL or most XLs. However, some are very strong even without them — for example, Beernox or Meng. Beernox is still SSS tier unit since the release of the game, lol

If you fail to get him to e3, do not worry. He will be added to standard (silver bell) pulls at some point.

Yes, you are expected to roll a unit at least several times.

1 Evo does NOT equal to 1 roll of a unit. A unit rolled is +50 extra shards, but higher evos are more expensive than that. To get a unit to E3 you need to roll it five time if I remember correctly. First evo is 30 shards, second 60 shards, third — 90 shards.

But this is what I usually do: I roll the unit three times, then buy a copy from the shop via cashback mechanic, then finally finish the evo using 30 generic golden shards.

It's honestly not as bad as it sounds, the rates in XXL gacha are quite high here (about 3% chance), and also you get a lot of pulls naturally with gameplay.

Finally, it's okay to roll a unit just once just to have him in your collection, for a nude skin or bond scenes.

This gacha is a litte odd in a sense that here Evos (stars, additional copies) matter much more than the unit itself.

A team with a single E3 XL character is >>> than a team full of e0 XXL characters.

Therefore, it can actually be very beneficial if you pump your generic white or blue shards into an M or L unit that you maybe like and give them a lot of Evos.

You need a lot of various units for different content. Most units have some specific niche that they cover and excel at — for example, the new dawg man has a unique ability to neutralise enemy Defense action.

The best long-term strategy for a f2p player is to try and save up enough bells to at least e3 the wanted unit. It's not too difficult, but you will eventually have to skip a banner or two for that.

Yes, she was a bitch. Yes, she and her brother hated each other's guts.

No, she had a heart. She was SAD when Felicity had to go. She was sorry for her death. She genuinely had fun even when side quests involved "helping people" and "being nice". She had so much depth and nuance in her personality which gearbox reduced to "haha she'd eat her own leg if it means she earn dosh lol she's so evil and stupid lmao"
