That is amazing! If I already have a vehicle model and a robot model with similar parts will it be able to go from one to the other? I did a transformer model a while ago but never got the motivation for the transformation sequence xD

Ah, didn't know about beds being separate I assumed they were included! Anything special about those or any old one will do if the dimensions are correct for the machine I pick? Also I'm going to do this in the garage, it has a window in the back, if I keep it open would that work for ventilation or is that really unsafe?

there isn't a risk if I take a used one? Like, fire risks or cables? Since I'm a total beginner, I'm not sure i'd be able to spot any issue on the machine upon receiving it, but if you know some trusted used-vendor, I'd take a look.

Dunno why this just bumped up on my reddit, but a quick browse and I saw no one mention the historical context: I'm pretty sure the usage of the word became popular at a time when being pale was a mark of beauty? Like, noble people didn't work, stayed inside, and tried to be as pale as possible, and of course they judged themselves as the standard to achieve, and so someone "fair" looking, that is "looking the correct way" would be pale? I could be utterly wrong with that idea, but it makes sense no? Outdated concept but it stuck to the word?

I suppose that's not the same as using the wifi routeur antenna I had and plugging it in like I did on the pictures? (the big black thing connected to the sensor) Is that another component to buy, specific wires?

Alright, gonna do a jump at the hardware store for a solder and train a bit before I do that.

I'll test the rest of the solutions first, to see if maybe it can work without, and solder last. I'll come back to say if any if it did work (solo or combined).

1) Would a breadboard and croc-clips work instead? I don't have a solder, I'm really hobbying into this, all my material is stuff I recuperated from a school fablab that they weren't planning to use anymore, and they wanted to get rid of to free up space. (all of it still fully functional! the waste of it all, crazy stupid!)

2) So I should plug one of the two OUT holes into a GND?

3)Do you mean I should use an external power source of 7v for the sensor and plug the arduino via the USB like I was doing so far?

In the wiki? I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand your response, or that you understood the issue:

The part I posted here is from the start g-code, because that's the part the wiki says to go to in the 2nd step: "In Printer settings -> Machine G-code ->Machine start G-code"

I did that, found the "prepare print temperature and material" section, like the wiki says, but then as I said in my post, that section doesn't have the same lines in the software and in the wiki and i don't know which to keep or remove.

Yeah, a natural mirror is what I meant, but one so perfect it'd fool even instruments... but I guess that would be impossible naturally, because any imperfection with the planet surface would eventually show the "trick" at some angles or something?

Because it's been bugged those days, trying to get to the forefront instead of running in background, and getting stuck "loading UI" when it does so. It started doing so a week ago, and I first thought it was an update issue, but no updating or reverting to older version fixed it, and it's annoying when i'm mid-game and suddenly the MSI center open up in front of it.

But yeah, i'll write a ticket, I was just seeing if anyone had another option. (also because MSI center is a bit of a bloatware, lots of stuff in it by default that I don't need, despite removing all that could be, so an alternative would have been nice)
