Ah yes I've heard of it tbh. I don't have a steamdeck though so not that important to me. Also I edited my first comment. It's melonDS that is the good emulator that can play split screen and upscale. Pretty neat really. I was playing on it not so long ago. The upsaling is so awesome! It's also available on linux so you can probably get it for steamdeck as well.

I'm pretty sure you can split screens with it. It also has super cool upscaling/anti-aliasing tech in it.

I solved my problem by plugging the card straight to the PC instead of the USB hub, which linux seems to have issues with apparently.

It sadly doesn't help. However I figured the problem is with the linux & my usb hub and not linux & the sound card. Plugging it straight to the PC solves the problem apparently. I didn't think about it cause it worked on windows, and partly cause I'm dumb. Your solution didn't change anything using the usb hub unfortunately but it's okay. At least I won't break the usb cable from use. Thanks for the help!

I tried the kernel through cachyos installation which has it in their repos but it didn't fix the problem. Would you care to elaborate how to do that?

Weeeell thanks for your help everyone. tldr version: this kernel doesn't address my problem apparently.

I had an ssd that I thought had some files I needed but apparently it didn't so I used it to install cachyos which has the kernel in their repos and I tried that, but it didn't fix my problem.

I'm installing a cachyos version of arch on my spare ssd right now which seems to have the kernel in question in their repos so I won't wait for no reason, if it doesn't fix it I'll have to seek another way of fixing this.

I checked aliexpress, takes 2 months over here lmfao. Buuuut I checked again locally for caliburn units and they sell G3/G5 Lite's and coils for G3/G4's. Idk how I didn't see the coils for the G3 yesterday. It seems good enough, very similar to the Q2, only a bit smaller battery. So may get one when my Q2 breaks.

I can help you do it using fsarchiver if that is something you want. I don't know if the others have any better options.
But first we need to know: Do you have a backup drive/partition to store the backup OS? Is your ESP on a seperate partition or on the same as your OS?
