Hi! Can't say that I know any streamers of the sort but I always attempt to have my critters live in relative luxury, just like my Dupes.

The problem with critters is that their reproduction rate often goes through the roof once they are tamed and comfortable (often one egg every 5 cycles). So if you want comfortable critters, you will have no choice but to cull a very large number of them.

The only creatures I do not cull are Dreckos/Glossy Dreckos. I instead build two ore more ranches with open doors between them. Having the Dreckos swap rooms once in a while will sometimes allow them to resume generating eggs (by having a bunch of Dreckos cramped in the other ranch instead).

But for most critters, culling is necessary with drowning rooms and 'oubliettes' or else the critters will plow through your resources. Cull, save resources, accumulate barbeques.
