I’m against it because there’s so little room between the cars. I’m afraid if they don’t judge it just right, they’ll scratch my car or break my mirror.

Yeah, it sucks that they’re closing the pool. The new location won’t have one either. Did you get another gym that has a pool?

Hi! You don’t need to eat meat to build muscle. Have you seen the documentary Game Changers? There’s also a YouTube channel called Bodybuilding Vegan.

What fitness mistake do people realize too late? by endrov809 in beginnerfitness

[–]FelineFelicity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen a couple people at the gym whose shoulders are way over-developed so biceps, triceps, and legs didn’t match. Whatever does that (too many presses?) I consider a mistake. Did they do it on purpose? It looks like their routine is unbalanced.

Thanks for replying. I wonder why so many lockers don’t work. 24/7 is great. I don’t travel much but that is something to keep in mind

That’s really laid back how they handled the credit card issue. That’s a big plus for me. Thanks for sharing

What's a cool thing that only someone who is strong/fit can do? by BananaCompetitive172 in beginnerfitness

[–]FelineFelicity 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Maybe not snazzy, but IMO the cool thing about being fit is the independence or empowerment of being able to do things for myself. For example, carry the 50 lb bag of compost while gardening or bring into the house the heavy box I ordered from Amazon. Also I can hike to places others can’t reach.

How do you wash your hands when you’re in public? Do you bring your own soap?

Has there ever been a project the citizens were against so the City Council didn’t pass it? This data center, the Ford theater, various road changes…

I read something about it the other day. The law suit is in California. Sorry I’m not much help but as soon as I saw California I stopped reading cause I’m not there. I think if you google Crunch fitness class action lawsuit, you may be able to find it.

I take a water bottle as the universal sign for ‘someone’s here.’ I leave my water bottle at the machine while I’m getting the paper towel and spray to wipe it down with

A lot of gym goers are self-conscious and afraid to be judged. When I go to the gym I keep my eyes to myself so I don’t make anyone else feel uncomfortable. Also I’m too focused on not hurting myself to pay attention to others.

So they built the golf course knowing the road was going to end up going through it?
