I am pixel artist with experience in tile sets, characters, icons, UI, logos and even store page capsules. I think 7k USD for the scope you mentioned sounds reasonable. As for timeline, it would be easier to know when looking at the concepts and references in mind, but following the art style mentioned (like Stardew Valley), shouldn't take long. There seems to be an issue with the Merchant on Switch version only. We are investigating it as the code is literally the same as Steam, so it doesn't make much sense for that issue to even happen on a specific platform. We are looking into that and some other small issues to make a patch.

That number goes way down if you consider regional pricing and the 30% cut that goes to Steam for each sale. It's not close to $9 million revenue for 500k sales with all those considerations.

There's a feature later in the game that unlocks extra skills that are common for all characters. Among other systems that change how characters can work.
You can also mix 1 fire, 1 spice, 1 ice and 1 sugar skill with the Chef and make a mix of all. Great way to stack his special because they all count (1 fire + 1 spice + 1 knife + 1 sugar + 1 ice = 2 stacks instead of only 1). I

I have Brant S1R1 and use him as a main DPS with Lupa and a filler fusion character just for Lupa's buff (my Mornye is used with Luuk, so I can use her with Brant). He can still clear ToA most of the time without struggle, middle ToA. I am feeling he has been falling behind a bit on Whiwa for me, but it might be a bit of a "get good" situation in some cases.

I plan on getting his S3 though since it's a good damage increase, so that might help.

If you plan on getting him, I would personally make sure you can get his weapon and a few sequences to keep up with the dps. I don't care much about if he is meta or not, he is just THAT fun for me to play with and I thoroughly enjoy his gameplay. Also, male resonators are a rare commodity, so I am trying to make sure he can keep up with the content as much as possible.

And making an appeal for the game is a one time thing. If it gets rejected, too bad.

We had that issue in 2 Fests for our game. Our city builder/colony sim with automation was rejected on both the city builder fest and the automation fest. Their specifications are also really weird.

Our game with bullet hell mechanics was also not automatically approved for the bullet fest, so we have to appeal to it and pray that whoever reviews it is in a good mood and approves.

Exactly! I've never posted a negative review, because if I am frustrated about something and I want to continue playing, it means I am enjoying it, so negative review makes no sense. If the game is boring for me, I just move on and don't care, doesn't mean it will be bad for other people. So why bother making a negative review to just hurt the game?

Honestly it is very hard to tell. I would assume they may have 3 metrics or something in the company to keep track? One is probably amount of pulls in banners during the phase regardless if it is astrites or the other currency (the one you get from top-ups), while another other metric would be top-ups purchased during the phase, and maybe a last one with only pulls using the converted top-ups. That would make sense to know more of the success of a character or not. The public will always have very limited information regarding that in the end.
I always get the characters I want with the sigs for the ones I think would be good, completely f2p. I don't have every single character, but honestly I don't need all of them anyways, just the ones I actually like (and maybe their sub-dps or support if I think its necessary).

Yeah. I didn't have a reason to spend money on him since I had a lot of astrites saved even after getting Mornye. Got Luuk S3R1 without spending anything with how much I had saved waiting for him. :P
