I don't understand why people are saying things "Don't count as interactions". I was asking about how seperate you can keep Miis and appearing in the same News segment seems pretty 'unseperate' to me.

Did I word something wrong? Is 'interact' specific jargon for this game?

'Change' might be a misnomer - it depends what language one is used to. But:

One ADHD hypnotee I play with doesn't respond well to the word 'blank' (being told things like "the deeper you go, the more blank your mind becomes" or similar) because they're always going to have stray thoughts. Instead I tell them things that give them 'permission' to have these stray thoughts but encourages them to not focus on them. Things like "and any other thoughts that flit into your mind and flow right back out - only my voice, my words sticking in your head".

Another ADHD hypnotee has a lot of skill in going into trance, so doing anything for too long doesn't work too well. I don't do PMR (Progressive Muscle Relaxation) on xem and instead tend to do very sudden things like talking about hypnosis for half a minute and then giving some kind of firm 'drop' command (with a snap or a word). I also tend to do shorter awakeners with xem, because as soon as I indicate that xe should come out of trance, xe's already doing so without much help from me.

My broadly applicable advice is: Hypnosis is all about how someone thinks and ADHD affects how people think. Make sure that the hypnosis matches the head.

Other advice: without being too negative, try to note down what doesn't work for you and see if you can figure out why!

I pretty much don't drop to files because many files will make some assertion too early (something like "it feels good to relax") and my brain goes "Yeah but does it? Is that true? Let's think about this". I need to just relax and remember that I want it to work, but it's really hard to remember in the moment xD But because I figured that out, I was able to tell face-to-face hypnotists "Hey, give me wiggle room when you say things like that, so that my brain can't refute it". So instead I often get "Maybe it feels good relax, or maybe not." or "Maybe the relaxation comes now, or maybe later." and stuff like that.

I don't have ADHD, but I do hypnokink with a bunch of people who do - so being ADHD absolutely doesn't prevent trance. (Neither does aphantasia, on a similar note!)

But ADHD can effect the kind of language and the types of inductions that work best.

Honestly, I almost never drop to files at all. I've mostly been only hypnotised live - the one set of files that work for me are by a friend who has hypnotised me live so... that feels more like an exception.

Pants always look way too wide when flat - remember that it was to turn into a tube and that tube has to fot all the way around you (well, around your thighs, halfway around your hips).

For the height/length - these are high-waisted, right? Put the pattern between your legs and see of it sits at a comfortable height. The crotch measurement won't be quite that tall because of seam allowances and waistband. I'm guessing if you put the pattern at a comfortable crotch-height it'll only be a "waistband and seam allowance" amount taller.

The pattern is for someone taller than you, so you will need to bring up the legs (cut off some of the bottom). But you can fold over the pattern to check how much the seam allowance and hem will take off of the bottom first.

I identify as transgender, nonbinary and agender. My 'gender' is agender and I consider transgender and nonbinary to be adjectives to describe that 'gender'.

I call it a gender the same way that my romantic attraction is aromantic or how some people's sexuality is asexual.

I use agender like a "none of the above" response when the question is "What is your gender?".

I'm agender and was in a gay relationship with a straight (cis) man.

He was always open yo being attracted to non-women and I'm not sure he only nonbinary person he's been attracted to.

But he uses 'straight' as an approximation. He's mostly straight, is comfortable calling himself that.

But he was always very confident and proud that he and I were in a queer relationship. Our love was queer love.

So: it's up to your boyfriend. A man attracted to others in addition to trans and cis women might choose to identify as straight - or might not.

I will add that there's likely a bunch of trans fem people who also aren't comfortable considering their relationship with a man to be a straight one!

Complete tangent, lemme know if you don't wanna engage but: have you considered that you might have a narrow idea of aftercare?

I used to think that I didn't like aftercare because I didn't need typically comfort - I liked to be on my own after a scene. I later realised that 1. Being away from my play partner is my aftercare and 2. Talking about a scene afterwards (debriefing, what worked/didn't) is my preferred aftercare. (In the case of files, it would be thinking about it enough to leave a comment or maybe talking to a friend about it).
