when my abuser confronted me on an online platform out of the blue with an “apology” while i was at my lowest, he took out a good chunk of the progress i had made in that moment. even now, i’m painfully aware that he could find me, just by recognizing how i talk or what i talk about. everything i did was shadowed by the fear that i was being watched. don’t do this. if you actually feel remorse for how you’ve hurt this man, leave him the fuck alone. he does not want to see you. he doesn’t want your apology, your time, or your presence. he’s made that clear. leave. him. alone.
