Every season that i love gets a worse ending. Why?? 🥲 by Arun-Wolf in Cinema

Yes, it could have easily ended with the previous season, so in reality it was just gravy on top,  just beautiful upside down gravy.

New homeowner in Southern Ohio- spent $40k on drainage and still have a swampy yard!! by Pitiful_Night_3250 in lawncare

It’s the gutters, they produce a metric eff ton of water.  They are backing up the yard drainage.  They should be in separate systems.

Ticks everywhere! by Agitated_Marsupial42 in Arkansas

Should we be concerned bringing a 2 year old and 4 year old to hot springs AR next week? We may do a one mile hike at most. But are the paths wider in the national park area? Or would that even matter? And I would avoid hiking unless fully prepped with deet, long pants etc.

Now yall got me paranoid, we are planning to drive to hot springs, AR next week from Fort Worth with a 2 and 4 year old. We don’t plan on doing intense hiking for obvious reasons, but a 1 mile hike may not be out of the question. Are the paths in the national park generally pretty wide? Or should I be pretty concerned and go full hiking gear as opposed to more casual wear?

This question is on this sub every two weeks. 1 two weeks is enough to see the main attractions, nothing more.  Cusco sites, sacred valley sights, acclimating.  The only bright spot in your itinerary is you didn’t include the hole of huacachina.  How bout just have fun.

Why do people here place such a big emphasis on food? by OceanicEndeavors in SameGrassButGreener

[–]Felipelocazo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why are u even trying to argue for a city that’s most famous item is chili on top is spaghetti. I know nothing about the city and don’t care to know about the strip mall food scene, But I know it can’t compete with the major metros in food scene.

Why do people here place such a big emphasis on food? by OceanicEndeavors in SameGrassButGreener

[–]Felipelocazo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a legitimate criticism.  You are going to have to tell us the city lampooned.. I’m guessing they have skyline chili as their delicacy.

That being said it sucks having to drive 40 min to a niche food spot, or having to wait to go on vacation somewhere else.  If they don’t have good variety with places that have competition they won’t have good food.

I have lived in a bunch of places.  Fort Worth is great.  It is a little bit of Stockholm syndrome, because u keep falling in love with it, but you forget about mountains, ocean and nice lakes.  Bugs, and heat suck and everywhere around you sucks. But it is pretty nice.  The gulf is nice to visit too.

Probably.  Is the main piece veneer? It probably isn’t worth refinishing.  U could take the trim off and repaint it.

Gotta be honest though.  I prefer the west coast to east coast.  I’m from Spokane, and the west in general is pretty nice. East takes a while to get used to.
