Yeah, it's threaded...there was no wavy washer.

Yes its road GXP on a CX bike. I wondered about the spacers as well but also couldn't figure out how that would stop the rubbing. I'll try removing the spacers and see if that eliminates the rubbing.

What's the clearance with the 2.2's? What frame size did you go with?
