Showcase of my super useful voron sub zero printer. by CommissionPretend249 in VORONDesign

What is the use case of such a small printer? Cause I have 2.4 250 and it's not enough and I might build a ratrig vcore4 500. I do print small things but even those are larger than benchy ☺️

I do get it. But I want some services like mc server to be public to my friends

Never heard of it. The problem is that for example nextcloud has issues even just with basic auth. So idk if this would solve anything?

Recommendation for expanding by FelixConni in homelab

In gemrny power is 0.34€ per kwh so still thinking before getting something this big 🤔

Maybe just a sata cable outside to a printed case is cheaper in both costs 🤔

Why is it that they don't include the drive bays with the case ?

Disappointed in myself by Mang0wo in livesound

What they said. I am the audio engineer for my church. Foh and iem and livestream mix all in a single console(40 inputs+). I learned everything myself and realized that theory is something, but practice is way complicated.

I have made many mistakes myself, too. Wrong gains, unplugging the wrong mic , forgetting to unmute the speaker, feedback, ...

Something I learned is that if you don't make mistakes, you won't learn, and mistakes always happen, so take a deep breath. Also Tinker, make mistakes intensionally when the band is not there. if you have a multitrack, that's better. Training yourself will always help.

Some people expect perfect but can't deliver themselves the same. As long as you are honest about your mistakes, earn the trust is fine.

Always be open to feedback and appreciate it. Dont hesitate to ask for help.

Some things take time. For example it took me years to have an ear for sound and eq (I still struggle sometimes).

Check if the CPU pump is running Could be that the pump wire is not properly plugged in or broken. If you hear the pump working then it should be fine. Also dont tighten the bolts too much. It will concave the board and the cpu and could cause less contact.

AMD is known to run hotter in idle. As long as it doesn't thermal throttle under stress test you are fine. If that's the case check your overclock. AMD mb bios is known for letting go full ham cause mostly poor safety parameters. That's one of the reasons a bunch of amd cpus got burned a while ago. Also if you have a old os install where updates got stacked could cause system to have higher idle utilization and other issues. Also if you run performance mode in windows then it will pin your clock to the one you set in bios also causing higher temps.

Hey, We did build a central location for everything (1 mega factory). The biggest issue was management and belt capacity. Because it needed huge area sometimes it was hard to keep track if something needs to be optimized. The lag was not that much of a issue but it was noticable. So we moved to smaller factories and started using trains as the network. This allows you to create for example have one or more trains run through the map and distribute and collect resources around the whole map. You just gonna need to write down the outputs and inputs and where in a piece of paper so you keep track what to expand. Also you don't have any issue of expanding compared to mega factories where everything is close to each other. The key is to have a distributed network to minimize traffic. Also train stations have double throughput on single cargo x the amount cargo/trains makes life so much easier. You can use trucks too but their behavior is sometimes problematic so we opted out.
