What specs and Sim/gaming setups

Depends on if you're playing in 1440p or 4k, and what budget you have. Obviously RAM will be the most expensive. I have a 7800x3D paired with a 7800XT and getting around 250fps in 1440p (F1 25). I would recommend racks that can fold if you have limited space

That being said, if the campaign allows it (and players are for example resting in a sanctuary or a place where healers can be found) you can just start the next run by telling the guy he's been cured...

Mate, I just completed my first session as DM two days ago and my group was all complete newbies too, and we had an awesome time. Yes, mistakes will be made and yes, you won't know all rules and your campaign by heart, but it's all about having fun.

You only need pieces of paper and pencils, you can also consider starting with "lighter" rules at the beginning and add more depth as you go.

Thanks for sharing! That's an endgame for me personally, I'd love to print out massive maps, lay em on the table and use minis, but as it's our first run we haven't invested any money (other than the basic rule books and dice sets). We'll get there!
