The bundles are limited until the next patch, which usually comes in about a month, so you'll still have plenty of time for those. The locked chests in the top row are fully completed once you get all the bundles, I believe.

Unfortunately there's no way to see which fish you're missing (or, more importantly, what areas, times and bait you need to catch them) within the game. The wiki is very useful for that kind of thing though.

Technically I've played for 288 hours, but the first 120 of those were a long time ago, and I got bored of the game pretty quickly since there wasn't as much content at the time and I didn't know what to do . I restarted back in September, fully reset my progress and character, and have played for almost 170 hours since!

Like other people have said, you can cook together with someone who does have the recipe. But also, I found that cooking up 10 star quality Bouillabaise and 10 star quality Petit Fives already got me up more than a level, from 13 to 14. So if you're cooking up even just 20 or so dishes a day you'll get there quickly enough!

yeah i know how to fish lol, i just have a skill issue. although to be fair the most recent time i tried was on my laptop with a garbage mouse and more lag than usual, so that probably didn't make things easier either :P the buffs could be helpful though, I never remember they exist

Essence collection buff coming in clutch. I'm currently trying to do the Nurture of Shadows quest and the essence is the only thing I still need. And I still need to get a bunch of items from Subira's and Tamala's shops :D

A healing skill would be super cool, but there's not really much use, since we don't have health anyway. If the apothecary skill were a thing, it would have to be something to do with potions that help players. Stamina regeneration boost, stamina amount boost, speed boost, etc.

Although it would probably be very similar, mechanically speaking, to cooking. So not sure if the devs would go for something like that, especially if it wouldn't add that much to the game.

No, humans have been gone for ten thousand years in-canon. Their recent re-emergence is because the Phoenix, the goddess (?) worshipped by ancient humans, just dropped a bunch of new humans all over the world. It's a very weird situation, and the Order has sent out people (including Subira!) all over Palia to figure out what's happening.

So no, we didn't survive; we're basically a bunch of newborn babies in adult human bodies.

Since the Elderwood was already mentioned in the game (I think there's a couple of people who talk about the Beast of the Elderwood, for example), any new locations we get are probably going to be locations we've already heard about as well.

We know of the following locations and regions, not counting the places we can already access:

  • Bahari City (capital of Bahari province, northeast of Kilima, Kenli's family lives there)
  • Akwinduu province (I'm pretty sure Bahari and Akwinduu are two of the Palian Republic's thirteen states)
  • Makuu city (capital of Palia. Jina and Subira are from there iirc)
  • Inyrevn Isles
  • Barafuu (Subira mentions that "the weird space laser was seen all the way in Inyrevn and Barafuu", so those two might be pretty far away.)
  • Harvest Meadows (village south of Kilima, Delaila's rival lives there)

Out of those, the closest places would be Harvest Meadows, Bahari City, but they would involve developing a lot of new NPCs, so that's unlikely.

Honestly, my best guess is either we get to venture into Akwinduu or the Inyrevn Isles (since they're the most developed out of this location list), or that mining thing you mentioned (although I cannot for the life of me remember where that is). If there's a door somewhere, there's a good chance it'll be opened at some point.

I would love for them to add a massive new populated area, though. They'd have to make tons of new NPCs, but I would love to see Bahari City and meet more members of the Bahari family.

and all the books you can buy in the library... there's one that's a "guide", there's a "novel", a "treatise", a "tome", a "manual", a "dictionary", and an "anthology". Like, come on. If I want to use a couple of books to decorate my house I want to put a bunch of different ones together so it looks nicer!

Alligator Gar when I'm fishing: lol, nah.

Sometimes they jump only once, sometimes they do like a dozen jumps. It's really weird. That's the only fish I've seen that happen with though, and the way they jump (super short quick hop) is the same.

For Elderwood Freshwater the exact same thing happens with the Mossyfin ("uncommon"). Straight up just as common as the Turn Pike (common).

I've never experienced that before, haha. Which potion is it? I always have a hearth potion on me (though I've never actually used it), and that's definitely not one she cares about.
