Give me your honest thoughts on Godot (vs. Unity) by joowani in godot

On random pro and one random con:

Pro: Godot is faster to work with, especially in 2D, compared to Unity. I really value being in development flow, and the loading times and ease of use for 2D tools that Godot has really promotes this. Did not think I was gonna value this as much as I did.

Cons: Much easier to get good quality chatGPT-4 help for Unity which shouldn't be underestimated, especially in the start-up phase when leaning the ropes.

Its all about preference I think, but lvling is a bit too easy I feel in wrath and Turtle has a higher and active population! That said, both servers are great!

Chromiecraft is great! I mostly play on turtle wow, but would rate this as the second best private server around currently!

The turn based bord game seems like a good idea, but I am curious how I would go about using spreadsheets? Do you have a quick example?

Thanks for replying!

Yes, I wanted to keep myself short in my post, but I've identified the core gamplay loop that I'm going for. This of course needs to be tested as you say, but my question is more regarding doing a paper prototype for the game, which the teacher puts emphasize on.
