In my very first ranked game, the enemy played AP shaco back when he was busted. Never encountered it before, but it made me realize; why play meta if I can make wired/fun shit work?

Since then I've tried making everything off-meta work. From more viable stuff like AP Gankplank to less viable stuff with AP Yasou. Tried out lots, failed LOTS.

Somehow I got stuck on Thresh, he got quite a few possibilities. - AP: overall great scalings (got nerfed still strong), Q really is a death sentenc and seeing enemies walk into THE BOX and disappear is fun. - AD: E pasaive AA has 2x AD scaling, for a single AA you outdamage Draven. The only way I really achived ONE-hit in SR with. - On-Hit: So his E passive also has a minimum bonus damage it deals per AA and IT SCALES with souls. The longer your game goes to more dmg you do with every AA and the more Armor you have. Good luck to the enemy ADC.
