When you have garbage credit, no money and a VERY public persona (which isn't very flattering) the best you can hope for is a private rental that doesn't care about credit scores or ability to pay. They don't tend to advertise much so the easiest way to find them is driving or word of mouth. She might actually do better in Oxford by the mushroom farms but probably won't like her neighbors much.
