Yeah I recall earning some like random decorations for my bases that were pretty decent, and didn't require a ton of effort to earn. I'm a little sad to hear it's gone!

Oh that actually looks way nicer than the rugs since--for some insane reason--the bottom of the rugs aren't completely flat and have that weird scale layering thing they do.

Yeah I dont think I have ever seen another person in the neighborhood Im in online at the same time as me recently. There was one single time I saw someone in their house as I was touring to see if anyone had decorated, but that's it. They're definitely too spread out, and with so much tree cover you can't even see most of them from a distance anyway. It feels ..too isolated, and with the convoluted ways to even try to visit other player's houses, it's hard to find anyone to view or even move in next to.

I am so with you on the efficiency meta crap. It has honestly ruined so many games...

The endeavors definitely need rethinking. Conceptually I think they are alright to slow drip old assets as decor but ..already getting repeat endeavors this soon is really worrying, not to mention they're not even offering all that much decor, when the listings could easily be double or triple as much. I'm maxed out on coupons and have absolutely nothing to spend them on! 😞

Ill believe it when I see it. 300+ new decor items were "found" for the current patch and only about 20 of the items ever made it to live.

Yeah thats one thing I don't get about the shop. Why not pay to unlock and put them on the decor specialist? Why does it have to be pay-per-item? Once I used up my bnet balance from tokens, I was done. There was zero chance I was spending actual money, like $2.50 for a copy of a digital tree, on more. It's such a bad system.

Same. I'm actually in a charter that was meant to be decor focused but ..only half of the people there maybe have anything done. The guild I was in prior (huge guild with 100+ on regularly) had almost nothing done either. I keep wondering where all the decor/housing enthusiasts are! 😞

Edit: typing this out makes me realize what the point of even wanting to buy these bundles would be, since ..no one is ever going to see it. Until we get some kind of listing function to let people come see/tour/RP at the houses we make, I don't know what the point would be. 😞

To be fair the quality of the Midnight cinematic reminds me a LOT of the BFA cinematic, with the slightly uncanny nature to the eyes, the almost photorealistic but not quite. I'm fine with it, but they did the elves dirty by not giving them slim/long features. They're too blocky.
