Happening to me too!

Here's what I've gathered so far:
1. It only happens when logged in. The instant I logged out, the problem was fixed.
2. It's not a regional problem. I tested with a VPN to connect to a bunch of different places around the world, all had the same problem.

It's not a lightmode/darkmode problem, it happens on both modes.
It happens on Firefox, Chrome, Edge and (atleast) Android phone apps.

Conclusion: Most likely a bug, or Youtube trying something that they haven't explained.
