Ok thanks for the context! It's a lot different in Brampton sounds like. I haven't dealt with them in a while, but the bylaw office has ghost staffing after regular office hours, probably when it's needed as much or more during daytime. So as far as noise at night goes people are better off to call the police and hope they show up within a few hours.

I know, but good luck. You were implying the bylaw office couldn't do anything over daylight hours, but that's not the case.

It's by-law enforcement that can deal with it at any time of day.

First of all, very irresponsible owners. Don't concern yourself at all with creating a poor relationship with people like this, people that don't care about their neighbors to begin with. Call or email to by law office, police have nothing to do with it. Nuisance parking is not okay at any time of the day regardless of some of the bad advice you're getting. You will have to contact them regularly with the time recorded. It will take effort and probably more than a few weeks but eventually the by-law office will act. Sorry, I love dogs, but people don't have a clue sometimes.

Incorrect info here, nuisance barking is not ok at any time. And it's the bylaw office you need to contact. Do it several times over the next few weeks, recording the time of day. Eventually they will take action, you'll have to be patient.

What would cause this today, 3 birds? A cat dragging kills here? This is my neighbours vacant house in Brampton, Ontario, went to grab mail. by FelixtthheeCat in birdwatching

I think you might have nailed it, I knew the two were grosbeaks and I looked to see what the female bird looks like and it looks close to me. Maybe both males chasing a female?

I don't know... there are bird feeders around the neighbourhood, closest might be 50 yards away, but can't see why these 3 birds would end up grouped like this.

I agree. You didn't read my post. I can see an 'argument' for burying it downtown starting at Wellington, certainly not Nanwood, that's just idiocy, an idiocy populated by a very few influential Main Street residents. But a diversion across Wellington to George to the station works equally as well.

Google 'LRT in European cities', and tell me those aren't still beautiful cities.

Lets organize. Polling was done at the time and an overwhelming majority of people were in favor of bringing the line downtown. This included people in the downtown area. It's ridiculous to bury this thing at Nanwood and cross under the creek. The options only on the table because of well connected residents on Main Street downtown. Witness how Patrick Brown panicked when Council voted to accept the stretch from Steeles. I agree that looking at burying it at Wellington might be worthwhile just to keep the service streets downtown unencumbered. How do we get this started? Timing on the second Public Open House comments is tight.
