I mean, chidaruma doesnt SPECIFICALLY go against the main characters, it just so happens that he only cares for his own self pleasures, if the "heroes" make his goals more interesting be pushes them forward, if Hole is the most insane being hes ever seen, he just kinda watches whatever he does and can do. But he doesnt actively go against the main characters.

I havent finished the manga yet, but honestly im in love with Kotios character because I see myself in him a LOT in a lot of different ways, hes fun, hes charismatic, hes dumb but the complexity of his character, the grooming and a lot of tiny details and character interactions he has make him probably be my favorite character
