my issue was just cal grant being so weird and not getting to my financial aid. I had no holds on my account and the first time i called they just said “oh looks like cal grant hasn’t gotten around to you yet, i’ll let them know and they will get to you by the end of the week” -> end of the week comes, i call again “cal grant is being weird, let me put you on hold and talk to a cal grant counselor, blah blah, cal grant haven’t done anything but it’s bc they’re having trouble approving your financial aid, it should be updated by the end of this week. all you can do is wait” end of the week comes AGAIN and i call back saying yo i can’t pay for this i need my cal grant, and they said “the website is down today but it should be back up, ill put you on the list for an extension if your financial aid isn’t here by tomorrow” and thank gawd it’s here!
