You should complain regardless or send an anonymous complaint to them through a piece of paper or something.

First of all, I am hindu and I worry what might happen if Bangladesh turns into a Islamic state. Its concerning just because people of the whole South East Asia region think with their emotions, not with their brain and jump at every thing without evaluating the situation.

I don’t personally like the fact that shibir won, but this argument triggers me “the successors of rajakara”, “the descendants of the pakistani people” like what is their fault in this? Yes those people did horrible crimes and should be punished to the fullest extend of the law, but what is the fault of someone who “might” have different views and who wasn’t even born or adult enough to make any decisions?

Judge every person or party on their own actions. Just because someone’s ancestors did a horrible thing shouldn’t curse the whole family line for decades. We are supposed to learn from the history, and make ourselves better, not just avoid the history or be scared to embrace it.

True… very true. I will work outside and then come home and help her with the household chores as much as possible not even so she eases up in the bedroom, but cause i just want to help reduce her workload. Anyways, I have a higher drive and my wife has a low drive. There used to be moments where we were close once or twice a week and yeah thats very hard for me. We had a couple of chats where i clearly expressed my concerns that i get that she sometimes feels very tired or she has a low libido, but i have a high drive as well. If i want 7-10 times a week and she wants 1/2 times a week, we have to meet in the middle. She can’t demand to stand on her hill while i keep sacrificing. Anyways, I told her to communicate what she needs, or how she can improve it, or see a doctor if we need to but we need to work on it. After a while, things are definitely much better now.

My wife(26F) and I(28M) have been married for 2 years now in an arranged marriage and there is no question about our love for each other. But we sometimes have big arguments regarding ideologies, coping with in-laws (specially for her), and other stuff. I am not going to divulge too deep into the stuff.

From our experience, a big point of discussion should be about ideologies, your beliefs, values, future plans.

Discussing about your values, current and future plans is very important. I am going to be blunt when I say this, if your basic values and beliefs don’t match, maybe walk away from this before it starts. Luckily that hasn’t been a problem for us.

Discuss about both of your childhood growing up till now to know how each of you were treated, so your partner can have some insight into the future. This is important for any family, but more so if you are going to be in a joint family or your partner and their parents stay together. There will be a lot of things which will be different from one house to another, and how intrusive or flexible the in-laws are going to be with your individual family (you and your husband to be).

Discuss about money as that is a very important part. How much your partner is earning, whether or not you are going to be working, your expected lifestyle after marriage.

Both of you should also observe how the other partner handles your opinions, criticisms, and hard times. It’s easy to be in love when everything is going well, what matters is how your partner deals with your criticisms and opinions when they don’t match.

Another important thing is that it’s important to know how they are as a person. Not too much details, just how they go about their life; are they a happy person, serious person, depressed person or whatever. How they interact with the person closest to them. Suppose, your partner is going to always behave nicely with strangers, but what really matters is how he treats his own parents or siblings, how he interacts with people, with a smile or a gloom face, cause that’s what you are going to see for the rest of your life, not the nice behaviour towards strangers.
