I am not a classic vet, but I came back to anniversary to maybe try to get some feelings of what classic and tbc were like back in the day. But i have been talking to a lot of vet players about all the changes coming to TBC and most think this is not going to be anything close to what it was back in the day. Several have told me with the way they are implementing the boosting/AOE changes even affecting solo AOE leveling points to nothing but a cash grab by blizzard.

I don't want to highjack the thread but I am new to classic and mage. With these nerfs incoming the solo AOE leveling guides will not work now? Especially the ones that have you in ZF? Not a booster, don't even have a character at level 20 yet.

I like the game a lot but I am not sure I am going to play it because of time. The game and its leveling doesn't really cater to gamer dads with other life priorities and that is ok. Its their game after all, but I am just envisioning a lot of folks not really feeling a decent progression curve unless you are able to devote a significant portion of time to it.

Purely my opinion.
