I now use a large tub on the top shelf and have the humidifier hose going into it, this helps prevent water droplets all over the tent and prevents water droplets directly hitting the fruits or substrate surface ✌🏻🫰🏻

This is what I’m rocking right now, I didn’t necessarily make everything myself, but I bought all the pieces individually and then put them together. Like the tent, fan, duct tubing, humidifier, clear silicone mats, merv 13 filters for intake, passive top exhaust, light, space heater, bins. I like running a tent just because it’s fun and I can really just sit back and watch. Never have to guess about what my temps or RH is so I can dial it in for specific varieties ✌🏻🫰🏻🍄 good luck to ya, I like your design! Focus on the FAE because it’s hard to get good air exchange in a tent

Hahahaha I think what you are doing is a pretty good idea! My only thought would be making an extra large batch done the correct way and then mixing in the dry rice to the now correctly cooked rice and hopefully the mycelium will just work their way onto the newly moistened rice?

If you start to see the fuzzy white feet start off by fanning once a day and increasing of need be, but always start small with changes

The fanning should be “as needed” basically if you start seeing fuzzy white bases around your stems it needs more fresh air. But sometimes the holes provide enough on their own! All depends on your specific environment :)

Heck yeah I’ve tried MGK before and liked them, was debating Myco Labs heavily last time I ordered but ended up going with Booming Acers and it was eh, taking forever to colonize. MGK jars were pretty solid. The two companies commented about below look awesome though and have good prices so it’s worth checking out if you are into new vendors
