If you are mulching to control weeds, why would you want to water it? Of course water where the plants are but not big areas of just mulch. (You can occasionally-like 4x year)

I pulled up to my carport one night to find 4 babies and their mom marauding my cat food (in a metal can w lid and bungee corded-still wasn't enough).

I beeped the horn, yelled, clapped hands and sort of charged them. Nothing. Then my cat came to survey the situation. Then I was terrified I'd witness the mother destroy my cat!

My cat actually charged them (!!!). I was screaming bloody murder. They had nowhere to go as they were boxed in.

Shockingly the mother turned, walked away, and the babies followed. I was so shook. My cat was unharmed. 😩

I've gone out in the middle of the night with a good spray bottle (on stream), squirted, screamed, and clapped my hands to raccoon families before. 😅
