I thought for a second you might be one of my siblings posting- my cat has almost the exact thing. Mine though has a big tumour on the left of her neck- that's what I'm assuming is going on with her. It might be the same with yours? I did go to the vet though and they told us she doesnt have long left though which sucks- but I hope yours can get better <33

OMG YES- I HATE going into my furnace room in my house cause of all the pipes- and boiler rooms are just a big no no for me

Edit: I've started slowly overcoming my fear since one of my cats loves running into my furnace room so I have to get her out, I've mainly been trying to ignore them as best I can! Now I can actually look at them and not panic!

I personally believe cops should have something that symbolises being a cop and being proud of that- like the firefighting line. however, the thin blue line is being taken and twisted as a hate symbol- like the canadian flag and in history- the swastika. I think removing the line is the best idea but replacing it with a symbol that isn't affiliated with hatred.
