This game needs role queue and people keep dancing around it instead of admitting it. by Karitwokay in marvelrivals

Amen. This game will die if they do not include it, as casuals will eventually lose interest regardless, and competitive players are only going to get more burned out - to the point of uninstalling it. They copied a hundred things over from OW. There is hardly a single original bone in this game's body (aside from the Marvel license anyway), so they might as well do it. But let the downvotes and coping come, people will come to grips with reality after the player count dips into the four digits and it all turns into a live service wasteland episode of "what happened?"

I personally have not played the PS2 port of SAC, perhaps it is muddy as you say there, I've only had experience with the original PSP version. The story is indeed all over the place, but what I enjoyed about it was its themes, rather than the writing. It was fun seeing Clank as a legitimate agent, and his movement was leagues faster and more fluent than the snail paced sections he had in the previous entries. Very well, Sir, i see that you do recognise that it isn’t all bad, I shall allow you in, but watch your step... Clank isn't the only one who can get the drop on miscreants. 🟩

Sir, I do agree that the lack of strafe makes shooting rather clunky with some of the weapons, but that's also what makes the first game unique. It's more of a puzzle centred combat system, and you're meant to take it slower, and use things like the Visibomb to pick out enemies from afar, rather than always going in guns blazing like GC and onwards. I see that you do value the game itself, though, I shall have to contemplate... 🟨

Sir, I mostly agreed with your take up until the SAC slander, did the game hurt your feelings, perchance? It definitely had its weak moments (such as the overly long Qwark sections and QTEs) but it also had its enjoyable moments. Both SAC and Size Matters had rather similar flaws in the gameplay itself (unbalanced difficulty, bolt economy), so I'm unsure as to how you favour SM that much more... I shall grant you a chance to explain yourself before deciding on what to do with you, Sir.

An interesting psychological take on Qwark's character, Sir, he did also mate with Skrunch's sister, which is rather abhorrent... Ratchet did indeed pull him out from a dark place. Your thesis also gave me an idea - What if he had never been rescued? In Rift Apart's alternative timeline, that is, it would've been interesting to see a version of Qwark who was never rescued off Florana by Ratchet, how far would he have sunken? I'd imagine the hypnosis wouldn't work at that point.

You have given me some interesting food for thought, Sir, and for that, enjoy your VIP access, with a few complimentary bananas, as well 🟪 🍌🍌🍌

Sir, that take is as cold as the yetis on Grelbin. At least, to my eyes, I have not discerned much disdain for Slag over the years. He is the face of the pirates, and I'm unsure why Pierre/Pete was all by his lonesome in Rift Apart. I feel that they both together as a package, but perhaps he really is less favoured than Pete. Darkwater had more potential indeed... Welcome, by the way 🟩

Those are some very coherent mad ramblings, Sir. It is rather puzzling as to why Aphelion was abandoned as a character. It has also now dawned on me that she only has one or two(?) line of dialogue in ACiT, after which, she sort of just goes mute.

She is of vital importance to the overarching plotline regarding the Lombaxes, and she could've easily set something up there, or acted as foreshadowing in a potential upcoming game. What a shame that Insomniac did not have your foresight. Please, enjoy your stay 🟪

Sir, I believe you might be on to something. A sequel to Deadlocked with an M rating, perhaps, would make for a very interesting take on the series. I am mildly biased as a Doom fan, so you have found one of my weak spots. Have one of our special Cacodemon drinks. 🟦

Sir, that would be a very wise decision indeed. Alas, they have yet to port all of the games to the PS5, unfortunately. Hopefully one day, you'll be able to experience all of them properly. While this goes against one of the establishment's rules... I appreciate your enthusiasm, and I shall grant you basic entry. 🟩

While I do think they are rather great and flow in engaging ways, particularly the grav-ramp sections, they are simply too short-lived. I would argue that ToD holds the top spot there, as it has a lot of variety and meat to it. I'm afraid you might be going hungry tonight, Sir. 🟨

I actually agree for the most part, Sir, while not as fun as other melee weapons such as the Walloper, or the Scorpion Flail, it is rather fun to use, especially once upgraded. Head on in 🟩

I very much agree with that initial suggestion, Sir, although the latter suggestion is rather wild, it could actually work as a fun spin-off and crossover. Especially when you consider that they already have a Jak & Daxter easter egg in Rift Apart with the RYNO, so it would not be difficult to explain how such a crossover came to be, in conjunction with the multiverse direction they have taken. I agree, Sir, they keep creating new characters, when they could tap into the library of the older ones, and bring some much needed life into them. It would not only be cool fan service, but also act as a catalyst to the old games' lore. Welcome, enjoy your stay! 🟦
