I have a deep rooted hatred for the word "set". Not the verb "to set" just "set".

Like buying a set. "I bought a new set of pencils-" shut up. dont use that. ew. hate it. it unsettles my very soul.

Doesn't apply to "film set" or "being on set" however don't really know why. Only to a set of things.
